Ministry of Community

The efforts and initiatives of the parish toward building a Christian community through welcome and hospitality. This component includes the connection of the parish to the larger community through involvement in inter-faith programs, city and local government, and community affairs.

Mexico Mission Ministry
This is a new ministry in our parish. We are looking for people ages of 14 and up, who are seeking others to journey in faith with through service. Our focus is the ministry of service to those in need. Our annual mission trip to Tijuana, Mexico building homes is the primary service project. If you would be interested in joining this important ministry, please contact Iliana Garcia at ext. 230 or igarcia@sfxc.org.

Social Committee
Make a U-turn and enter the St. Frances’ “fun-zone”. Our social committee is in need of fun-loving people to assist in planning activities for all ages. Some of the exciting things we have done in the past are our annual parish picnic, our Halloween “trunk or treat” night, Mother’s Day luncheon, St. Frances Feast Day celebrations, Sock Hop dance, Casino Night and many more cool things. It’s time to start planning again for the next year. For further details, contact Lisa Cox at ext. 500 or lcox@sfxc.org.

NEW Welcome Committee
Our new Welcome Committee will create ways to personally welcome each and every new member of our parish. This will include mailings, phone calls and some personal visits. Do you have a spirit of hospitality?? If so, contact Lisa at ext. 500 or lcox@sfxc.org.

Young Adult Ministry
The young adult ministry here at Saint Frances strives to enrich the lives of our young adults and those around us. Anyone between the ages of 18-30 is encouraged to join us for fellowship, service and prayer. Opportunities to serve our brethren include beach clean-ups, yard and house clean-ups for our wise elders and other service projects. We also get together for fun and fellowship throughout the year. This ministry is still evolving and you are encouraged to join in the process. For more information please contact Lisa Cox at ext. 500 or lcox@sfxc.org.

Organizations affiliated with St. Frances X Cabrini Church

Knights of Columbus
Membership in the Knights of Columbus provides the opportunity for association with others who are, first of all, practicing Catholic gentlemen. It offers the opportunity for fellowship with those who are of the same belief, who recognize the same duty to God, to family and to neighbor and who stand side by side in defense of those beliefs. Knights have dedicated themselves to the ideals of our founder, Fr. Michael J. McGivney - charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. Contact Ed Pierson at (909)797-8405 for details.

Catholic Daughters of the Americas
An organization of women committed to serving the parish and community. Meetings are held monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the parish center. Contact Trisha Wright at 909-795-3229 for details.
